My Invisalign Journey
After considering my options...
I have decided to go ahead with Invisalign treatment at the age of 37 to address the widening gap between my two front teeth and my worsening TMJ condition.
While the treatment may be costly, I believe it is necessary in order to address these issues and improve my oral health.

This is my monthly progress:
Please note that I was wearing my Invisalign aligners for an average of 20-22 hours per day.
I did have a temporary setback in Month 1 when I had an appendectomy, but I managed to get back on track with my treatment.
Month 0
There were soreness in my mouth after using the first 2 trays of my treatment,I applied ice to ease the pain.
Month 1
On the next few trays, I got used to the pain but still could not see significant changes in the alignment of my teeth.
Month 2
I finally began to notice a significant change in the alignment of my teeth starting with tray 14.
Month 3
At this point, I am already happy with the change I am seeing.
Month 4
I have noticed that the gap between my two front teeth has begun to close starting with tray 15 of my Invisalign treatment
Month 5
This is the start of the 2nd set of aligners . I noticed that my right front teeth started to misalign. The dentist had to adjust the bonds.
Month 6
I noticed that my two front teeth were not consistent with their alignment.
Month 7
I noticed that there is now a significant change in my bite or the way my upper and lower teeth fit together.
Month 8
Continuing my journey, very happy with this change. The bottom teeth has shown significant change as well
Month 9
The alignment of my big right front teeth has been corrected as a result of the change made by the dentist.
Month 10
Finally the dentist removed the adhesive or bonding cement . Now I am ready to use my nightly retainers.
This photo was taken right after the dentist removed the bonding cement and polishing my teeth:
The process of wearing aligners wasn't always easy, but I was determined to see it through to the end.
I am so glad that I didn't skip any of my 40 trays, because now my diastema is completely gone and my jaws feel much more comfortable.
